Data Sync

Selective Sync - Sync One Provider

Choose a specific MerchantFlow integration to sync instead of refreshing all providers. Target Shopify, Google, Meta, or other platforms individually.

Selective Sync

Selective sync in MerchantFlow lets you rerun data synchronization for a single integration provider instead of refreshing your entire workspace. This is useful when only one data source appears stale while others are current, or when you have reconfigured a specific integration and need a targeted refresh.

Where to Use Selective Sync

Open Settings > Integrations > Manual Sync Runner to access the scope selector.

Available Sync Scopes

The current runner exposes these scopes:

  • all - syncs every connected provider
  • google - Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Merchant Center, and Google Ads
  • shopify - Shopify orders, products, and inventory
  • woocommerce - WooCommerce orders and product catalog
  • meta - Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads
  • snapchat - Snapchat Ads
  • tiktok - TikTok Ads
  • speedfulfill - Speedfulfill 3PL fulfillment data

MerchantFlow resolves those scopes into the underlying sync categories it needs to run in the background.

When to Choose Each Scope

  • all - use when the whole workspace needs a fresh pass
  • google - use after changing a Google property, site, merchant account, or ads selection
  • shopify or woocommerce - use when commerce data looks stale but marketing data is fine
  • meta, snapchat, or tiktok - use when paid-media data is the only stale area
  • speedfulfill - use when fulfillment and shipment data needs to catch up

Standard vs Full Sync Depth

  • Standard sync is the default incremental option that pulls updates since the last sync point
  • Full sync is a stronger reprocessing pass for the selected scope

Use full syncs carefully, especially on large live workspaces, because they can take longer than incremental syncs.

If you are unsure which mode to use:

  • start with Standard
  • move to Full only after fixing the configuration issue or when a normal rerun does not repopulate the expected data

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sync only Google Analytics without syncing Google Ads?

Not in the current runner. The google scope includes all Google integrations (GA4, Search Console, Merchant Center, and Ads). A more granular breakdown is not available at this time.

How long does a selective sync take?

A standard incremental selective sync typically completes in 1 to 3 minutes for a single provider. Full syncs can take longer depending on catalog size and order history.

Does a selective sync affect the automatic background schedule?

No. Running a selective sync does not pause or reset the regular background cadence for any provider.

When should I use Full mode instead of Standard?

Use Full mode when you have changed the selected property or account within an integration, when data was accidentally reconfigured, or when a Standard sync does not repopulate missing data after a fix.
