MerchantFlow Invoices and Billing History
MerchantFlow invoices provide a complete record of your subscription charges and payments. Where you find your invoice history depends on whether your workspace uses Stripe billing or Shopify billing.
Who Can Access Invoices
Invoice access is owner-managed because billing actions require billing:manage permission. See Roles and Permissions for the full access matrix.
How to Find Invoices for Stripe-Billed Workspaces
For standard web workspaces, invoice history is available in Settings > Billing.
The current billing surface pulls Stripe invoice records and shows the most recent invoice history for the workspace.
Use invoices to review:
- Billing dates
- Plan and renewal cadence
- Past successful charges
- Invoice number
- Status
- Payment method summary
When available, Stripe-hosted invoice records can be opened or downloaded from the billing UI.
Where to Find Shopify-Billed Invoices
For Shopify App Store installs:
- Charges appear on the Shopify invoice
- The authoritative billing record is Shopify, not a separate Stripe invoice inside MerchantFlow
What If No Invoices Are Showing
If your workspace is still in trial or has not completed billing approval yet, invoice history may be limited or empty.
That is normal for:
- New web workspaces that have not completed Stripe checkout
- Live trials before the first successful charge
- Shopify tenants that have not yet reached the first Shopify billing event
- Demo or non-production workspaces that do not have live billing records

How do I download a MerchantFlow invoice?
Go to Settings > Billing, locate the invoice in your billing history, and click to open or download the Stripe-hosted invoice record. Invoices are available in PDF format.
Why is my MerchantFlow invoice history empty?
Invoice history may be empty if your workspace is still in a trial period, has not completed Stripe checkout, or is a demo workspace. This is expected behavior for workspaces that have not yet processed a payment.
Where do I find MerchantFlow charges on my Shopify bill?
MerchantFlow charges for Shopify App Store installs appear on your standard Shopify invoice alongside other app charges. Check your Shopify admin billing section.
Can I get a receipt for my MerchantFlow payment?
Yes. Stripe-billed workspaces can access payment receipts through Settings > Billing. Shopify-billed workspaces receive receipts through the Shopify billing system.
How do I dispute a MerchantFlow charge?
