How to Fix Products Not Appearing
Merchant Center Not Connected
- Go to Settings > Integrations and check Google connection status
- Merchant Center shares the same OAuth as GA4 and Search Console
- If disconnected, click "Reconnect" and re-authorize
No Merchant Center Account Selected
After connecting Google, you need to select which Merchant Center account to use:
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click the Google integration settings
- Select your Merchant Center account from the dropdown
- Click "Save"
Products Not in Merchant Center Feed
MerchantFlow can only show products that exist in your Merchant Center product feed. If products are missing:
- Verify the products are submitted in your Merchant Center feed
- Check that your feed is being processed successfully in Merchant Center
- Allow up to 2 hours for new feed data to sync to MerchantFlow
Common Product Disapproval Reasons
| Issue | Description | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Missing GTIN | Product identifier required | Add GTIN/UPC/EAN to your product feed |
| Price mismatch | Feed price does not equal website price | Update feed or website to match |
| Image quality | Low resolution or watermarks | Use high-quality product images |
| Missing brand | Brand attribute required | Add brand to your product data |
| Policy violation | Product violates Google policies | Review and comply with Shopping policies |
| Landing page error | Product URL returns 404 | Fix product URLs in your store |
How to Track Disapprovals in MerchantFlow
The Dashboard > Merchant Center page shows:
- Total approved, disapproved, and pending products
- Individual product status with specific issues
- Trend of disapprovals over time
MerchantFlow can email you when products are disapproved, so you can address issues before they impact your Shopping campaigns.
How to Fix Merchant Center Sync Issues
Data Not Updating
Merchant Center data syncs every 2 hours. If data seems stale:
- Check the last sync time in Settings > Integrations
- Try a manual sync
- Verify your Google OAuth token has not expired
Status Mismatch with Merchant Center
If MerchantFlow shows a different status than the Merchant Center web interface:
- Sync delay -- allow up to 2 hours for the latest status
- Google processing -- after feed updates, Merchant Center takes time to re-review products
- Trigger manual sync -- force a fresh data pull from the Manual Sync Runner
Best Practices for Product Feeds
To minimize disapprovals and issues:
- Keep feeds fresh -- update your feed regularly (daily recommended)
- Include all required fields -- title, description, price, image, GTIN, brand, availability
- Match your website -- prices, availability, and images must match between feed and site
- High-quality images -- minimum 100x100px, no watermarks or promotional overlays
- Accurate product data -- correct categories, sizes, colors, and attributes
