Install MerchantFlow from the Shopify App Store
Installing MerchantFlow from the Shopify App Store creates an embedded Shopify experience with automatic store connection and Shopify-managed billing. This is the fastest way to get started if you already manage your store through the Shopify admin.
What Happens During Install
When you install MerchantFlow from the Shopify App Store:
- Shopify handles authentication into the embedded app -- no separate MerchantFlow login required
- Your Shopify store connection is created automatically as part of the install flow
- Billing approval is handled through Shopify, not Stripe checkout (see Shopify Billing)
What You Still Configure After Install
After the app is installed, you can connect additional integrations:
- Google services -- GA4, Search Console, Merchant Center, and Google Ads
- Advertising platforms -- Meta Ads, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads
- Fulfillment services -- Speedfulfill 3PL
These connections are available from onboarding steps and later from Settings > Integrations.

The two install paths create different authentication flows. Contact MerchantFlow support if you need to transition between them.
Do I still need to connect Google and ad platforms separately?
Yes. The Shopify App Store install only connects your Shopify store automatically. Google services and advertising platforms are connected separately through onboarding or Settings > Integrations.
