Mobile App for iPhone and Android - MerchantFlow

Install the MerchantFlow companion app from the App Store or Google Play, pair it with your dashboard by QR code or sign in with email and 2FA, and manage connected devices.

Mobile App

The MerchantFlow mobile app is a companion to the web dashboard for iPhone and Android. It shows your real net profit -- after COGS, blended ad spend, discounts, refunds, taxes and operating costs -- plus the products, orders and markets behind it, so you can check how your Shopify or WooCommerce store is doing from your phone. The app is included with every MerchantFlow plan and requires an existing account.

Install the App

iPhoneApp Store
AndroidGoogle Play

The download is free and there are no in-app purchases. The app signs in to the workspace you already have; create your account and connect your store on the web first (see Create an Account).

There are two ways into the app. Both give the device its own sign-in that stays valid for up to 90 days.

Pairing works for every account, including stores that installed MerchantFlow from the Shopify App Store and never set a password.

  1. In the web dashboard, open Settings → Mobile App.
  2. Click Generate pairing code. A QR code appears, with the same code shown as text underneath for manual entry.
  3. In the app, choose Pair with QR code and point the camera at the code. If the camera cannot scan it, tap the manual-entry option and type the code instead.

Pairing codes are single-use and expire after five minutes. If a code expires, click New code to generate another.

Sign in with email

Choose Sign in with email in the app and enter the email and password you use on the web. If two-factor authentication is enabled on your account, the app asks for your authenticator code or a backup code next (see Account Security).

Accounts that have never set a web password cannot use this route -- pair by QR code instead, or set a password first from Settings → Security.

What the App Shows

Every screen reads from the same P&L as the web dashboard and recalculates on each sync.

ScreenWhat you see
OverviewYour North Star metrics and net profit for the selected timeframe. Choose which headline metrics lead (net profit, contribution margin, blended MER, CAC, ROAS, POAS, AOV, net margin) and add more in a detailed section.
ProductsProducts ranked by profit after COGS and ad spend, not by revenue.
OrdersEach order with its own net profit and margin, refunds and discounts included.
MarketsProfit by country after blended ad spend, with spend that produced no orders flagged.
InsightsFlow AI summaries of what changed in your own numbers.
SettingsConnection health for your store and ad platforms, a manual sync trigger, and the option to switch store if your account has access to more than one.

The timeframe picker -- today, yesterday, 7, 30 or 90 days, 12 months, or a custom range -- applies to every screen at once. Currency, timezone, language and plan features follow your workspace settings; nothing is configured separately in the app.

Manage Connected Devices

Open Settings → Mobile App in the web dashboard. The Connected devices list shows every phone or tablet signed in to your account, with its platform, when it was added and when it was last used.

  • Click Remove next to a device to sign it out immediately. Use this if a phone is lost or replaced.
  • Each device sign-in lasts 90 days from pairing or login. After that the device needs to pair or sign in again.

What the App Does Not Do

  • Setup lives on the web. Connecting integrations, entering COGS, expense rules, reports, team management and billing are all done in the web dashboard.
  • No push notifications. Anomaly alerts and the Daily AI Summary continue to arrive by email (see Notifications and Daily AI Email Summary).
  • No separate account. The app cannot create a workspace or start a subscription.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to check
"This pairing code is invalid or has expired"Codes last five minutes and can be used once. Generate a new one under Settings → Mobile App and scan it straight away.
"Finish setting up your account on the web first"The account has no workspace yet. Complete signup and connect a store on the web, then sign in again.
Sign-in works but the app shows no dataThe app reads the same data as the dashboard. See No Data Troubleshooting.
The app asks for a two-factor code you do not haveUse one of your backup codes. See Login Issues and Account Security.
