The MerchantFlow setup guide is a guided checklist built into the dashboard at /dashboard/setup-guide. It walks you through every configuration step needed to get your workspace fully connected and pulling live data. Use it during initial onboarding or revisit it any time you need to complete a step you previously skipped.
When to Use the Setup Guide
The setup guide is most useful when:
- You started with demo data and want to connect live store and ad platform integrations now
- You skipped a step during onboarding and need to go back and complete it
- A teammate needs a guided path to finish workspace configuration without guessing which settings to configure
What the Setup Guide Covers
The checklist walks you through:
- Path selection — choose your workspace type (merchant or agency)
- Commerce setup shortcuts — connect your Shopify or WooCommerce store

Open the setup guide and follow the commerce setup step to connect your live Shopify or WooCommerce store. Once connected, MerchantFlow begins syncing real data and demo data is replaced. See Demo Mode for details.
Does every team member need to complete the setup guide?
No. The setup guide is workspace-level, not user-level. Once one admin completes the configuration, all team members benefit from the connected integrations and settings.
