Ads and Channels Dashboard
Track paid media campaign performance, ad spend by country, and revenue KPIs across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and more in MerchantFlow.
Ads and Channels Dashboard
The Ads and Channels page in MerchantFlow is the centralized paid-media dashboard where you monitor campaign-level performance, total ad spend, revenue KPIs, and country-level breakdowns for all connected advertising platforms. Access it at Marketing > Ads and Channels in the main navigation.
What the Ads and Channels Page Shows
The current ads experience includes:
- Campaign-level performance views -- see individual campaign metrics such as spend, revenue, ROAS, and conversions
- Total spend and revenue KPIs -- aggregate figures across all connected ad platforms
- Country-level ad spend -- understand which geographic markets consume your ad budget
- Revenue by country -- identify which markets generate the highest return
- Sync and platform health sidebars -- verify that data from each ad platform is current and complete
How Campaign Data Is Organized
The campaign table centers on connected Google Ads and Meta Ads campaign data. Each row represents a campaign with key metrics including spend, revenue, ROAS, and click-through rate.
Other paid-media connections such as Snapchat Ads and TikTok Ads are managed from Settings > Integrations and contribute to the broader marketing sync model. Campaign table coverage may vary across providers as additional platforms are integrated.
How to Connect Ad Platforms
To populate the Ads and Channels dashboard:
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations
- Connect your ad accounts (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads)
- Optionally connect Klaviyo for email and SMS attributed revenue (owned-audience channel, $0 spend per send)
- Wait for the initial sync to complete
- Return to Marketing > Ads and Channels to see your data
Owned vs Paid Channels
The campaign table merges paid media (Google, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok) with owned audience channels (Klaviyo email and SMS). Klaviyo campaigns appear with their attributed revenue but always show $0 spend because Klaviyo charges a flat monthly subscription rather than per-send. To reflect the Klaviyo subscription cost in your net margin, add it as a recurring OPEX entry in Expenses.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often does ad spend data update in MerchantFlow?
Ad spend data syncs automatically based on each platform's API refresh cycle. Check the sync health sidebar on the Ads and Channels page for the last sync timestamp. See Live Updates for details.
Can I see ad performance broken down by product?
Product-level ad attribution is available through the Attribution system, which connects campaign data to individual product revenue.
Why are some ad platforms missing from the campaign table?
Platforms like Snapchat and TikTok contribute to aggregate metrics but may not yet appear as individual rows in the campaign table. Their data still flows into traffic source and attribution reporting.
How do I calculate true ROAS including product costs?
Combine the Ads and Channels data with your P&L Overview and COGS entries to calculate net ROAS after product costs.
